Plyterra launched a fuel pellets plant

In September, Plyterra launched a plant for the production of fuel pellets in the village of Umet of the Republic of Mordovia.

Waste-free processing of low-grade wood and additional disposal of wood waste has been developed at the new plant. Pellets can be applied as a heating material and will be in demand in regions with low gasification.

The new plant capacity allows processing up to 150 thousand cubic meters of wood. In addition, about a hundred jobs have been created here.

In forest-rich regions of the world, wood is becoming increasingly important as a fuel. Wood fuel pellets are considered to be a real substitute for fossil fuels. Both private and state structures are increasingly switching to the use of wood fuel pellets for heating as a substitute for petroleum products.
